  • General Purpose/Summary of Job

    The Accounts Payable Administrative Assistant and Check Auditor is responsible for check auditing, the distribution of checks, general correspondence and administrative duties

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    • Auditing checks (weekly check runs and demand requests)
    • Obtaining signatures on checks when required
    • Mailing checks to vendors or following special mailing instructions
    • Stamping invoices as “received” after validating appropriate signatures on the invoice
    • Receptionist relief coverage for 1.5 hours per day


    • Microsoft Office package including Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Must be able to multi-task in a high stress environment
    • Reliable, professional, and a team player
    • Exceptional verbal, listening, and written skills
    • Must present a professional appearance and friendly, positive demeanor at all times




    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Some accounts payable experience is preferred, but not necessary
